Ponderare Account Deletion

How to delete your account

In the app (recommended)

​

1. Open Ponderare

2. Go to your Profile

3. Select Account & Data

4. Tap Delete Account (trash can icon, last option in the section)

 

What happens next

 

Once selected, you’ll be taken to a summary screen showing your journey, including:

• Days of reflection

• Entries recorded

• Words captured

• Insights generated

 

Before deleting, you’ll have the option to:

Export your data

 

Your entries, insights, and summaries can be exported as:

• Markdown

• JSON

• CSV

 

Confirm deletion

 

To permanently delete your account:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the page

2. Type DELETE (all caps) in the confirmation field

3. Tap Delete My Account (trash can icon.)

Your account and data will then be permanently deleted.

 

What will be deleted

 

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your voice recordings and audio files

• All transcripts and journal entries

• Insights, patterns, and analysis

• Emotional history and mood data

• Your voice profile and preferences

• Credit balance and transaction history

 

This action cannot be undone.

 

Can’t access your account?

 

Forgot your password

Use the password reset option to regain access and complete deletion in the app.

Please include:

• The email associated with your account

• Your Account ID

 

⚠️ We cannot process deletion requests without verifying:

• Account email address

• Account ID

 

Where to find your Account ID

1. Go to Profile

2. Select Account & Data

3. Open the Account tab

4. Your Account ID is located at the bottom of the page ( key icon)

5. You can copy it to your clipboard

 

Response time

 

Support requests are typically reviewed within 48 hours.

 

A note on your data

Ponderare is designed to be a private space for your thoughts.

When you choose to delete your account, your data is permanently removed in accordance with this process, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, or billing purposes.

 

Important note

Deleting the app does not delete your account.
You must follow the steps above to permanently remove your data.
